Chocolate Chili Coffee

Serves: 4

INGREDIENTS

2 oz good-quality coffee beans

1/4 tsp ground ancho chili powder (approx.)

8 cups filtered water

3/4 cup whole milk, warmed

1 oz dark chocolate, shaved

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Set Brim Electric Handheld Coffee Grinder to 5 for medium grind. Grind coffee beans in 4 batches. Stir ground coffee with chili powder.
  2. Place coffee-chili mixture into filter of the Brim 8 Cup Pour Over Coffee Maker. Pour filtered water into water container. Press the ON button.
  3. Froth milk using frothing wand or by hand. Pour brewed coffee into glass mugs; pour in frothed milk and top with foam. Garnish with shaved chocolate and sprinkle with chili powder. Serve immediately.

Tip: Coffee can also be prepared with cayenne pepper or ground chipotle pepper instead
