1.5 oz good-quality coffee beans
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
3 1/2 cups filtered water, boiling and divided
1/2 cup whole milk, warmed
2 tbsp agave syrup
4 cinnamon sticks
- Set Brim Electric Hand Held Coffee Grinder to 5 for medium grind. Grind coffee beans in 4 batches. Stir ground coffee with cinnamon.
- Place paper filter over the decanter of the Brim Pour Over Coffee Kit. Pour 1/2 cup boiling water through the paper filter to saturate and pre-warm decanter; discard water. Add coffee to wet paper filter.
- Using slow, spiral motion, pour 1/3 cup boiling water over coffee to bloom; let stand for 30 seconds. Pour remaining boiling water slowly over coffee, allowing water level to drop before adding more water (this process should take about 5 minutes).
- Stir milk with agave until well combined. Pour coffee into mugs and stir in milk mixture. Garnish with cinnamon sticks. Serve immediately.
Tip: For a change, try a variety of sweeteners, such as maple syrup, honey or coconut sugar.
